Refund policy

At Favoyard, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your outdoor living products. Whether you are purchasing our ready-to-ship items or ordering custom-made cushions, we are here to help.

Please read our policy carefully as it varies depending on the type of product you purchased (Standard vs. Custom).

1. Return Eligibility by Product Type

A. Standard Products (e.g., Outdoor Wagons, In-stock Cushions)
We have a 90-day return policy for all standard, in-stock items. This means you have 90 days after receiving your item to request a return.

  • To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

B. Custom & Personalized Orders (e.g., Custom Size/Color Cushions)
Due to the unique nature of custom-made products, all sales are final.

  • No Returns for Personal Preference: We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer or dissatisfaction with the color/texture choice.
  • Color Accuracy & Swatches: Computer monitors and mobile screens vary in how they display colors. To ensure the fabric is exactly what you want, we strongly recommend ordering our [Fabric Swatches] before placing your custom order.
    • Please note: If you choose to forgo ordering a sample, Favoyard cannot be held responsible for color discrepancies between the digital image and the actual fabric, and returns will not be accepted for this reason.
  • Since these items are crafted specifically to your requested dimensions and color specifications, they cannot be resold to other customers.

2. Damages and Issues (Applies to ALL Orders)

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.

  • Please provide photos of the defect or damage.
  • If the issue is due to our error (manufacturing defect, wrong item sent, or shipping damage), we will evaluate the issue and make it right at no cost to you (replacement or refund).

3. Shipping Costs for Returns

For Standard Products:

  • Consumer Responsibility: If the return is caused by the consumer (e.g., changed mind, ordered wrong size/color of a standard item), the consumer is responsible for the shipping fee. The specific fee should be based on the express company you choose.
  • Favoyard Responsibility: If due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee.

For Custom Products:

  • Returns are generally not accepted. However, in the event of a verified manufacturing defect where a return is authorized by our team, Favoyard will cover the shipping costs.

4. Order Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: Can be cancelled before the item has shipped.
  • Custom Orders: You may cancel or modify your custom order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 24 hours, production may have begun, and materials may have been cut. Cancellations after this window may be subject to a 30% handling fee or may not be possible.

5. How to Start a Return

  1. To start a return (for eligible items), contact us at business@favoyard.com.
  2. Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

6. Exchanges

  • Standard Products: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
  • Custom Products: Direct exchanges are not available as each piece is made to order.

7. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at business@favoyard.com.
